This one-of-a-kind Herkimer Diamond quartz specimen features a bright, clear-to-cloudy crystal with striking internal reflective planes and delicate rainbow flashes. Its angular natural formation showcases a beautifully faceted appearance, with fine mineral specks and earthy inclusions concentrated along portions of its edges.

As the crystal is turned in the light, its layered internal fractures create shimmering reflections and subtle flashes of color. Areas of clarity contrast with soft cloudy veils, giving this small specimen plenty of natural character. Herkimer Diamonds are naturally occurring quartz crystals known for their double-terminated growth habit; despite the name, they are not actual diamonds.
