Its angular natural formation has an elongated profile, with contrasting transparent areas and delicate internal veils.

Small dark flecks and subtle earthy mineral coloration add character throughout the quartz, while the reflective inner planes give this specimen visual depth from different viewing angles. Herkimer Diamonds are naturally occurring quartz crystals known for their double-terminated growth habit; despite the name, they are not actual diamonds.
