Herkimer Diamond with Dark Inclusions & Natural Internal Rainbows (SHKRM-6)

This one-of-a-kind Herkimer Diamond quartz crystal features clear to slightly cloudy quartz with scattered dark mineral inclusions and delicate internal fractures that catch the light. Its elongated, angular natural form has a distinctive pointed termination and subtle flashes of rainbow color visible in some of the internal planes.

Small dark specks and a concentrated inclusion near one point lend contrast to the otherwise light-colored quartz. Herkimer Diamonds are naturally occurring quartz crystals known for their double-terminated habit; despite their name, they are not actual diamonds.
