Cabinet-sized mineral specimen featuring metallic cubic galena crystals associated with dark sphalerite and drusy chlorite-included quartz. The galena crystals exhibit bright metallic luster and well-defined cubic form distributed across a plate-like matrix. Fine green quartz druse covers much of the specimen, creating contrast with the metallic sulfide minerals.

The Madan Ore Field in southern Bulgaria is known for hydrothermal lead-zinc deposits that produce associations of galena, sphalerite, quartz, and carbonate minerals.
